Contest Results 2013 Ohio Smoked Meat & BBQ Festival 10/18-19, Nelsonville, Ohio

35 competitive BBQ from across the country came to Nelsonville, Ohio to compete in the 17th annual Ohio Smoked Meat & BBQ Festival. Friday, October 18th was a beautiful day for the teams to register and start cooking. Saturday, October 19th brought a cool and cloudy day but the teams pushed on. As the turn ins started Mother Nature decided to give some liquid sunshine to brighten our day, but despite her best efforts the competition was completed by all 35 teams. Congratulations to "Brutus & Company" from Marietta, Ohio who won the Grand Championship.

Thank you to all the BBQ Teams and BBQ judges for coming back to Nelsonville, Ohio in 2013. We look forward to seeing everyone next October. The 2014 competition dates are - October 17 & 18, 2014.
