Tip-top Tri-Tip seared slickly on a great grate

Used the Weber Performer with charcoal baskets and the sear grate inset that comes with the Gourmet system from Weber.

Seasoned well with Q-Salt, cooked indirect and then reverse seared.

It was served with extra hot horseradish, garlic herb noodles and corn bread
 
That looks mighty fine! My better half is out with the girls tomorrow and is taking the baby with her! I think I'm going to give a tri-tip a go. Never had it before and if the lady is gone nobody is there to give me a hard time about eating two pounds of rare beef!
