Rainy day chili

Had a brisket point left over and decide to smoke a chuck roast. Had a few pounds of ground venison in the freezer, so what better to make than a good ol' pot of red! Got the venison in the pot, cut up the point, and smoked the chuck to 150. Cubed it, and in the pot. Oh yeah... I'm cooking now!
While the chuck was on, I decided to make a jar of sweet/hot sour pickles for something to snack on. Glad there's a few cold ones in the fridge!

"Look's good" Bet it's nice and warm in the house with that cold beer!!!!!!!!
 
That's a good idea - been a long time since I've had deep fried pickles. These oughta clear the sinuses deep fried!
 
Looks and sounds good. The thgouht of those fried pickles makes my sinuses burn.
