Shout out to Jeff and the gang for one heck of a grill! The folks at Assassin were a pleasure to deal with and they nailed it with this pit! Extra options were the insulated fire door and the side burner to light my chimney. The holes were drilled by me. Love how much room is in this thing. Looking forward to some time off and good weather so I can light this bad boy up again.

Wow congrats! I have an older 36 that does a great job. Is your side burner stationary?

It's attached to the side table. The burner itself is bolted on, but the pieces its attached to are welded on. So yes, its stationary.

I was VERY tempted to put that stack on the right instead of the in the middle, but I didn't want to mess with a proven design. Maybe on my next one I'll do that.

remember you can put the v-pan in either way and gives you different heat zones and you can slide it one way or the other against each wall or let it vent all the way around . play with it on every cook and everyone cooks different .
