Retired last summer from the military and decided I was going to learn to BBQ/smoke meat the right way. After some research settled on a MAK 1 star and basically cooked as often as I could. Learned a lot of lessons the hard way unfortunately but have slowly developed a very basic understanding of how to cook the right way. Recently purchased a Yoder YS640. I am now looking to assist in any way possible a team that may want to mentor/teach etc. I have participated in a Cookshack competition BBQ class which has assisted greatly.
I am in Oklahoma City and can make most contests within a couple hundred miles of where i live.
