Ted and Barney’s Seasoning Ted and Barney’s seasoning is a blend of spices developed by life-long butchers, Ted Maxwell and Barney Barnhart, that enhance the flavor of beef, chicken, fish, as well as wild game and fowl. Whether used as a rub or sprinkled topically, once you try Ted and Barney’s seasoning you’ll understand why it’s “The Butcher’s Blend”.

Default Short Ribs With Ted and Barney's Seasoning

Ted and Barney were gracious enough to send me a free bottle of seasoning via their giveaway thread. I decided to do some short beef ribs as the seasoning resembles Montreal Steak Seasoning that is one of the rubs I use on my briskets. Although similar to Montreal Steak Seasoning, Ted and Barney's seasoning had a few extra ingredients. One of them tasting like chilli powder to me. The seasoning took to the meat very well. It provided a good cook.

Thanks again Ted and Barney!

It's great stuff. It is awesome with ANY meat, plus any potatoes, eggs, mac & cheese, and more. You will find a ton of uses for it.

Yup, I saw that stuff for years and never paid it a second thought. Then they came on here and started giving it away ,decided to try it and love it.
