Swamp Boys Q School is on for this summer! June 29-30 in Clermont FL. A large number of "graduates" see a 100% return on their investment within a contest or two. Lot's of first time wins, lots of big time wins after the class. This is a techniques class, and we will also discuss flavor profiles. This is a small class to allow for lots of interaction, sign up early.

Yazoo's Delta Q will put on their one and only cooking school for 2012 July 28/29 in Southaven MS. Go to Yazoosdeltaq.com for more info and how to register. As this is our only class for the year (and beyond?) we expect to fill up quickly.

As usual, we will have a ton of class involvement, feed you more than you can eat, and talk about a whole lot of BBQ tips, tricks and recipes. We will go over all KCBS meats and all MBM/MIM meats- including the procedures we have used to win the World Hog Championship the last three years, a feat no one else has accomplished.

Danny Coogle Pit Bulls Up in Smoke Online BBQ School has been released. You get a life time membership. Put it up while your at the Competition.

Time lines for each category, Recipes and it was shot at Columbus Ga where Danny Won a Grand Championship. He won a Grand at Euharlee Ga last week. All four categories.

Danny have learned from the best and has practices and refined his skills and has the process down. Time and Temperature, Seasoning, Turn in Boxes, and is currently winning Grands and Reserve Grands.

I don't know first hand about Danny's class (I'm sure it's good), but Bill Anderson of Chatham Artillery BBQ (numerous Grand Championships) has had an online class for several years now that is very good. Lots of familier names are signed up to Bill's 'school'. And his lifetime membership is lifetime, when he changes cooking methods you get the new info.

My thoughts on picking a class would be to find an instructor with good communication skills and a consistent, recent winning track record. I have taken a couple short classes where the instructor has not placed high in years and was not a good communicator which lost most everyone in the class leaving everyone scratching their heads.
