Default Plowboys Jerk

Picked up a shaker while I was in KC this past weekend and tried it on some porkchops last night.

Very good flavor!

Nice rub. It will get a lot of use...

I guess I am officially hooked on Yardbird now too since I got the 5 lb bag this time!

God Stuff Todd!

Hey GreasePig -

Try this the next time you do some spares: Trim & rub with Yardbird, let it rest overnight in the fridge wrapped in saran wrap, then give it a dose of the Jerk Rub before it goes on the smoker. Gives it just a little extra "kick" - good eats right there!

This jerk stuff... Jean and I find ourselves using it on and in everything! Eggs, meats, Moink balls... I did up 24 burgers yesterday and folded in a good bit. LOTS of compliments.

Todd - that rub's a super-hit far as I'm concerned. Guess I need a five or six pound bag now...(sigh). ;)

This rub is really good - gonna have to try it on eggs, burgers, and ribs now. I know the chicken I tried it on rocked.

I think the Brethren are now set to take over the entire rub kingdom...
