I'm a weekend smoker looking to taste the competitions.

Connecticut has a comp coming up in Stamford on July 13th and 14th.

If anyone would care to escort a new guy through the process, I will do what is needed.

May be helpful to others to know - are you looking to join a team for the weekend and view what they do - or do you want to compete yourself and just want some guidance on site how to handle things and get "through" your first competition?
