Finally got to fire up the new G2 Party and offer a pig sacrifice to the fam. Still getting a feel for the cooker but for the first cook all I can say is this is extremely user friendly and really just needs you to put the meat on and off. Enjoy.

Looks good! I have a G2 ordered but it is not going to be here until April.

You won't regret it. I had this on order since November and just picked it up last week but well worth the wait. A friend of mine is welding a cart for me which will make this the ultimate cooker.

Had to pull my ribs early as I got them on later than planned and the wife had to go to school tonight. For the sake of my wife's professor and classmates I sacrificed a little tenderness so she could have a full belly :-D. Definitely could have used 30min to an hour more but I'm not complaining.
 
hey, I noticed your casters were too big. do they still work?

Yeah they are oversized, good catch, but they were purchased for the cart a buddy of mine is building. Couldn't wait any longer to break her in so I slapped them on. They serve the purpose for now so I don't break my back :-D
