My Tri tip

Don't worry. If he sells them to other people... they will just screw it up and hate on him. Bet he is smart enough to know that.

The problem here in the states is that people will make something that is not fit for a dog, call it BBQ, and people will rave about it. The standards seem a little higher over there.

It is funny that your butcher asked you that because my brother had cut meat for himself for about 5 years. He butchered whole animals and never have heard of a Tri-tip roast. I bought 1/4 cow last fall and the butcher that did it has been doing for over 30 years both for himself and in grocery stores and have never heard of it. Luckily we have a local supermarket that has it and it goes on sale fairly often. I think a lot of places grind it up into hamburg
