Welcome to the Ol’ Glory BBQ Bash

WE HAVE 20 TEAMS REGISTERED AS OF 4-23-2013

If you are reading this then you must be looking for a place to cook June 14th & 15th 2013. We would love to have you join us for 4th KCBS event in Fredonia Ks. There are several reasons for you should choose us. Like close proximity to turn in. Every space has electricity provided by our city power crew so no generators. We have 20 30-amp RV plugins. Thrash, water and ice service non-stop on Friday until dark. Theses services will available on Saturday from 6am-9am then again after last turn in.
The unique thing about us is our Friday night sponsorship event. Here is how it works. Local business’ and individuals pay to sponsor team spaces. If you choose to accept a sponsored space your entry fee is reduced from $135 to $80. In exchange you will provide dinner for 6 people at your cook site. This meal is cook’s choice but please remember they paid $125 for the privilege to be your guest. The better the show the greater the chance for them to want to pay again next year.
We also try our best to take care of our judges. Happy judges tend to give higher scores and higher scores tend to make for happier teams. When our teams are happy they seem to want to come back next year. We are asking for the chance to make you one of our happy teams. You can visit our website to register for our contest. Judges may register under the judge’s tab. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you in June.

June 14 & 15, 2013

Hey guys,

The Ol' Glory BBQ Bash is really a great BBQ contest!

This is their 4th year. They have a proven track record.

You can not find a greater and more progressive idea for a KCBS sanctioned BBQ contest!

You really do need to at least check out their website and consider entering the Ol' Glory BBQ Bash at Fredonia, Kansas on June 14 & 15, 2013.

Please carefully read Dale Fritz's words in post # 1.

WOW!!!

This guy is up front with everything! Total transparency!

What a great idea!!!

What a great deal on entry fees!!!

The teams have two choices. They can pay the full entry fee of just $135 (a fabulous bargain) or they can accept sponsorship and just pay an $80 total entry fee (an absolutely phenomenal bargain)!!!

Question: Where else can you enter a KCBS sanctioned BBQ contest for just an $80.00 entry fee, plus the cost of the meal, with no extra charge for electricity?

If you accept the sponsored option, you will get to meet 6 new people, who just may turn out to be 6 new fans of your team!

Additionally, one, or more, of these new people just may want to sponsor your team in future BBQ events, or they may know someone that would like to sponsor your team in future BBQ events, or they may want you to cater a private event, or they may know someone who would hire you to cater a private event!

The possibilities are absolutely endless!

Be sure to bring plenty of business cards!

Remember the "Six Degrees of Separation."

Six degrees of separation is the theory that everyone and everything is six or fewer steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person in the world, so that a chain of "a friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps.

I am absolutely overwhelmed by the possibilities of this most progressive and inventive BBQ event!

I just hope that Dale Fritz's progressive ideas spread like wildfire throughout the BBQ competition community.

I simply can not imagine any cook or competition team that would not think that this is an absolutely great option!

Have you ever talked to Dale Fritz, the event organizer?

If not, please give him a call.

After talking to him I am sure that you will think that he is one of the most positive and enthusiastic individuals that you have ever talked to.

Mr. Fritz is involved in a positive manner with several non-profit community service organizations.

IMHO Dale Fritz is one of those rare people who will absolutely make a significant difference in the quality of life!

Additionally, there
is only one other KCBS sanctioned BBQ contest in the entire state of Kansas that weekend. Also, there aren't any KCBS sanctioned BBQ events in the entire state of Missouri on that weekend.

So, if the Fredonia event fits into your travel plans, this is definitely one of the "must do" Mid-West BBQ contests of 2013!

If you have read any of my other posts, you know that I am not easily impressed. Quite frankly, I am usually a skeptic. However, when I am impressed, you will know it!

So please do your homework, and check out the Ol' Glory BBQ Bash at Fredonia, Kansas.

You will be glad that you did!
