Sam's Club. Who's in and Where?

Tear-a-Byte BBQ will be in Marietta, GA. Cooking our 2nd event. Looking forward to it. Good Luck Everyone!

Not only did they drop NJ, they dropped PA this year too. Yes, it was the same weekend as New Paltz. Some people still did both (Stubborn Bull, Meat @ Slims, Blazin' Butts...maybe others) but I think that did contribute to the lower turnout at Sam's.

Someone already dropped out of Des Moines. I am first on waitlist so I called to find out options for payment(no credit card) and time frame. Rules say 24 hours but is that business hours I had wondered. Sounded like from the first gal who answered the KCBS phones that my only option without credit card is to overnight a check(her suggestion) but KCBS offices are not open on Saturday. She made it sound like but she made it sound like they really didnt know how to go about things because first teams payments are not even due YET. However she got someone else on the phone who said I have til Monday and have a few options. Important thing is I got an email that I am off waitlist.

I got that figured out and should all be good tonight. i gueess my biggest problem is the gal I talked to wasnt real helpful and pretty much said the email I got was wrong.

We have paypal but in wifes name so I wanted to make sure all was OK so called KCBS office back and the gal said I DONT use the link that the email from KCBS says. Her answer was because they are still taking registration(???) Oh well if it works i will be registered and if not wasnt meant to be.

hey..just an FYI.. if your on the Laural MD. list and you are not going to pay and compete..let the KCBs know ..please...actually please dont sign up unless you can pay the entry fee at any of the comps..you end up screwing alot of teams wanting in.
