That said, I agree with Big George about the helmet. My youngest has had 3 concussions that he got from falling on the sidewalk(well he did run into another kid at a full run), and 2 skateboard falls. He broke his helmet on both skateboard falls so you don't have to be going fast.

His wearing his helmet from now on.

I will never forget my kids' first times riding without training wheels or help and the feeling I had watching them - fantastic!

I'm with ya on the ribs - I've just been cutting off the flap (and saving to make sausage

) and that's it. Works for us!

Good looking ribs Tony, great looking family thanks for sharing.

I remember when my oldest daughter learned to ride her bike without training wheels. She asked me to take them off. First time she fell down but got up mad and said "I'm going to learn to do this". It's great when your kids put their mind to something and accomplish it.
