GLBBQA ToY Program Expansion

I am very pleased to announce the Great Lakes BBQ Assoc.'s Team of the Year program will be expanding to Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana. :clap: Rules are as follows:

You must be a member in good standing of the GlBBQA to accumulate points

A team will be awarded points for a top 20 finish in each category and overall
1st place = 20
2nd place = 19
3rd place = 18
and so on...

A teams best 3 contests will count towards the total

All KCBS Sanctioned 4 meat contests (Standard contests, no KCBS sanctioned rib burns) in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin are included

In addition to the points for each category, teams are also eligible for the "Shot in the dark" which is awarded to the team with the highest KCBS score in each category. So a 180.0000 would likely win it for each category.

The prize pool is still being worked on and I will get those details up as soon as I have them. Last years pool was $1000 and I hope to increase that significantly for this year.

I am also creating a committee for this event and would love to have a couple people from each of the states. If interested let me know.

We will have at least one team from every state then! I'm looking forward to seeing JT, Rich, and Mark duke it out at some Michigan comps this year!

I'm guessing you'll rack up some decent points in Grand Rapids Scottie....I think they are naming it after you this year
