This time of year I’ll cherrypick colorful Hatch and cook them as well.

Looks great to me. I grew up eating lots of beef (ours) and garden veggies and beans and cornbread. I thought beans were just good (and I know mom’s cornbread was). Didn’t realize that we were trying to eat cheap.

Sometimes cheap is great. Still eating beans and cornbread to this day - and loving it.
